 Hey, I’m Lilly ♡

Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I’m 20 years old, Jewish, Dutch + American, and a native English speaker. I grew up in the Netherlands and made aliyah with my parents in 2018 when I was 12 years old. Moving to Israel was one of the biggest changes of my life, and honestly, not always the easiest.

Like many olot chadashot, I had to learn a completely new language, adjust to a different culture, make new friends, and figure out how to build a life in a country that was both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. There were definitely moments when I felt overwhelmed, frustrated, or completely out of place. But there were also moments that reminded me why we came here and why Israel feels like home.

Today, I’m doing my National Service year and studying Digital Marketing, while still learning and growing every day.

This blog is where I’ll share everything I love: fashion, beauty, lifestyle tips, favorite products, honest reviews, personal discount codes, and all the little things that make life a bit easier and more fun. But beyond that, I also want this space to help other olot chadashot and anyone trying to find their place in Israel.

I know firsthand how challenging aliyah can be. Learning Hebrew, understanding how things work, dealing with paperwork, and trying to fit into a new culture can feel overwhelming sometimes. If I can help make that journey a little easier for someone else, then this blog will be worth it.

Israel is our home, and I truly believe we can help each other feel more at home here.
